Study #6

Date: November 28, 2016
Time: 4:35 PM
Weather: Rain
Temperature: 48 Degrees F
Length of Day: 7:52 AM (Sunrise) - 5:12 PM (Sunset)
Organisms Present:
Trees: The trees are the only remaining form of life that I could find in my study this time around. With only one or two leaves still hanging from their branches, the trees have been altered in such a way over the course of the last couple of months.
Fish Update: Once again, the fish could not be found. Could the impending rain have something to do with this?
Leaves: Plenty of dead and dying leaves were scattered across the ground and into the river.

Study #5

Date: November 11, 2016
Time: 5:34 PM
Weather: Overcast
Temperature: 47 Degrees F
Length of Day: 7:32 AM (Sunrise) - 5:25 PM (Sunset)
Organisms Present:
Trees - The trees have changed drastically since my last visit. Almost no leaves remain and they are quite barren. What leaves were left were very colorful in the shades of orange red and yellow.
Small Plants - There are still some small plants near the river, but they appear to be fading as many of their leaves are wilting and turning brown.
Fish Update - No fish could be found during this study. I'm hoping they will turn up for the last study, but it is doubtful they will be seen since the leaves have covered a lot of the water near the shores.
